Miguel Lambert is the President of The Bulldog Group, based in Beltsville, Maryland. With more than fifteen (15) years of experience in business finance, construction and management services, Mr. Lambert oversees the business operations and construction of projects and is responsible for total quality management, timely project completion and optimum profitability. Over the last ten (10) years, Mr. Lambert has steadily and strategically grown The Bulldog Group’s portfolio of businesses and service offerings, focusing on innovation and sustainability opportunities in the construction industry.

Anticipating a heightened demand for reliable trucks to service the infrastructure and development projects in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, Mr. Lambert founded AggDirect in 2016. AggDirect is a logistics platform and e-ticketing app focused on providing an innovative “Uber for Trucking” model. With AggDirect, truckers register their truck or fleet for utilization on the AggDirect app, where customers (e.g., contractors, developers, etc.) can log on to order trucks to haul materials or supplies to or off the job site. This system provides more efficiency to the truckers themselves who run their trucks empty as much as 40 percent of the time. For customers, such as contractors, AggDirect offers quality control, documentation, and flexibility to scale up or down trucks used on a daily basis.

In 2020, Mr. Lambert saw the opportunity to bring sustainable aggregates to Maryland by investing in a new wet wash processing plant. After two years of development, the Repurpose Aggregates plant was commissioned.Repurpose Aggregates will supply high-grade, reliable materials to the local region, including the first recycled sand available in the Mid-Atlantic region. The new state-of-the-art industrial recycling wash plant is the first of its kind in the region and promises to lead a new wave of demonstrable sustainability in the Mid-Atlantic construction industry, especially in carbon reduction and the recycling of construction, demolition, and excavation (CDE) waste. The launch of Repurpose Aggregates won a 2022 Maryland Inno Fire Award from the Baltimore Business Journal in the category of Sustainability & Equity.

In addition to founding and developing these business entities, Mr. Lambert has invested significantly in the real estate industry. Over the last 20 years, he has built a portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial properties located in New York, Maryland, and Texas.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Lambert used his Georgetown finance degree to work as a venture capitalist and partnered with private equity and leveraged buyout firms to deliver senior, mezzanine and equity financing to their investments. Seeing an opportunity in infrastructure development, Mr. Lambert partnered with engineers and launched his own venture, The Bulldog Group.

In his spare time, Mr. Lambert enjoys running and spending time with his wife Ayana and two sons, Alexander and Anderson. Currently, Mr. Lambert sits on the board member of Mount St. Michael (High School – Bronx, NY) and West Laurel Swim Club.
